Peace signs and peanut butter cookies

It's kind of unbelievable that it's already here, but tomorrow is my last day at my internship! I will miss the clients and staff so much, but I'm definitely looking forward to the free time. Tonight was a mini-celebration of the free time to come. For me, celebration means going to Home Goods, and baking cookies haha. I love, love, love home goods, especially around a holiday. Even though I wasn't planning on buying anything, I found a set of ornaments that I couldn't pass up.

Aren't they neat? I put them up on our tree as soon I got home.

Tonight I also baked cookies. I knew I wanted chocolate something, so I found this recipe for peanut butter cookies, and added chocolate chips.

Yum.
So now I'm sitting here enjoying the christmas tree, finishing up a few cookies, and about to write thank you notes to various people at my internship. What a nice evening!

P.S. more christmas tree and other decoration pictures soon! I've been busy and the apartment is looking great!
