Christmas in 3D

This is our third christmas season in our apartment. I just looked back on pictures from the past two years, and it's so neat to see how decorations have grown from super simple and minimal, to more filled in and established. I never  wanted to go out and buy a full tree full of ornaments. Besides the cost factor of being a graduate student the past two years, I like the idea of accumulating ornaments that are special and loved rather than buying them just to have them.

I've been looking forward to lights on top of the cabinet ever since I painted it over the summer!
