I love....Monday
I got busy last week and totally forgot to update with a post on Monday, so count this weeks post as double love. And oh, do I. A few weeks ago I spotted Justin's maple almond butter on the shelf in the natural foods section at Kroger. I had almond butter at a house of a family I babysat for a few years ago, and it was totally delicious. I've avoided purchasing my own, however, because it's so expensive! Luckily the maple almond butter came in little packets for $1 each, so I grabbed two and spent the next week carefully rationing it out on apple slices, graham crackers, and...fingers. It's really smooth, and just slightly sweet, with a short list of "real food" ingredients. Love. I loved it enough to buy two more packets next time I went shopping, but not enough to invest $9.99 on a jar. Today though, I finally broke down and bought a jar. Expensive? Yes. But, I'm hoping to make it last for as long as I can. Will has also become quite fond of it as well, so if the jar empties too quickly, he can kick in for the next ;-) Try it!
I also bought a single pack of Chocolate Hazelnut Butter which I'm super excited to try. I'll have to check back on it...

I love Trader Joes Almond butter. Its cheaper (around 3 dollars a jar?) I get the Raw Unsalted Crunchy type. A spoonful of it goes in my oatmeal or I mix a bit of agave nectar into it for an apple dip
Mmm, almond butter sounds super yummy! I'll have to keep my eye out for that.
