Mackinac beauties

I've made it all the way home to my apartment, and my fast internet speed. I mentioned in my post yesterday that I had just finished a four day trip to Mackinac Island, much of which I spent with my feet on the peddles of my bike, and my hands on my camera. After a trip to an island with no cars allowed and much beauty to see, I chose a selection of the many pictures I took over the week to share with you.

apparently the vacation home of the owner of Kohler

You know you're in a beautiful place when this is the trash can

one of the islands B&B's
a delivery (made by horse and carriage) outside of one of the fudge shops.

our hotel, the Harbour View.
champagne at high tea at The Grand Hotel
this house is nicknamed the "wedding cake" house.
I totally fell in love with this lake front table. I want to cover the table in candles and eat there at sunset!
gorgeous morning skies after a rain storm the night before

I already am looking forward to next years visit!

My mom and I visit every year, and we love it more each time! I just followed your blog, I love to hear about life on the island! My mom bought one of the books created by your students :-)
